Case Study Eighteen
Our client, in this basement Shaker painted kitchen, presented our designer with an interesting challenge. She had a long list of appliances to be fitted into a fairly compact kitchen with just two walls to work with! Also she didn’t want any wall cupboards so as not to enclose the area - so we fitted several deep floating oak shelves for crockery and dry food/spice open storage. The strong lines of the shelves make the room appear longer and draw your eye towards the garden. Also included were two curved perforated stainless steel vegetable baskets with a space saving slide out chopping board.
